Terms & Conditions
Last revised: 2 June 2026
These terms govern your use of medly.help and of the counselling and placement services provided by Medly Education Advisory Sdn. Bhd. (Reg. No. 202101042917 (1440286-T)), a company incorporated in Malaysia with its office at B-05-11, The Podium, Jalan Kemajuan, Bandar Sunway, 47500 Subang Jaya, Selangor ("Medly"). By using the site or engaging our services you accept these terms.
1. The service
Medly provides education counselling, course and university comparison, application submission, scholarship screening and enrolment support ("the Services"). The Services are provided free of charge to students and their families. Medly is remunerated by partner institutions through placement fees after a student enrols; this does not increase the tuition or fees you pay.
2. What we promise — and what we can't
We promise advice given honestly, on current information, by trained counsellors. We cannot and do not guarantee admission, scholarship awards, visa grants, or particular academic or employment outcomes. Admission and visa decisions rest solely with universities, scholarship bodies and immigration authorities.
3. Your responsibilities
- Provide true, complete and current information and genuine documents. Falsified documents end our engagement immediately and may be reported where the law requires.
- Meet the deadlines we notify you of; missed institutional or embassy deadlines can rarely be reversed.
- Review every application before it is submitted — you approve the final content.
- Pay institutions directly. Medly does not collect tuition, deposits or visa fees on any institution's behalf.
4. Intellectual property
Guides, comparison reports and other material we produce are Medly's copyright. Your Course Match report is for your personal use; please do not republish it commercially.
5. Liability
To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Medly's total liability arising from the Services or this website is limited to RM 1,000. We are not liable for decisions of third parties (universities, scholarship providers, immigration authorities) or for losses caused by information you provided being inaccurate or incomplete. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
6. Third-party links
Our site links to university and government websites for your convenience. Their content and policies are their own; check requirements directly before relying on them.
7. Ending the engagement
You may stop using the Services at any time by telling your advisor — there is nothing to pay. We may decline or end an engagement where information is falsified, where conduct towards our staff is abusive, or where we cannot act in your genuine interest.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction. If any clause is held unenforceable, the remainder continues in force.
