Who we are
Built by counsellors who got tired of bad advice
Medly started in 2021 with three counsellors, one whiteboard, and a rule: recommend only what we'd recommend to our own families.
The problem we set out to fix
Education agents in Malaysia traditionally earned more for pushing certain universities — and students could feel it. Advice came with an agenda. Comparison tables mysteriously omitted cheaper options. Scholarships went unclaimed because nobody was paid to find them.
Medly Education Advisory Sdn. Bhd. was registered in 2021 to run the model differently: salaried counsellors, standardised placement fees across partners, and every recommendation documented in a report the family keeps. Five years on, thousands of students have enrolled through us in Malaysia, Australia, the UK, New Zealand and Ireland.
